We know how much you value delivering a high-quality streaming experience for your audiences. The new Stream Studio is designed to enable seamless, up to 4K live streaming with an even more intuitive user interface.
Here are some more details on how the new studio works.
To access the new Stream Studio, click Stream Studio on the left-hand menu and then toggle on the ‘Use new Stream Studio’. For the next two weeks, you can toggle freely between the new and previous versions of the Stream Studio, per your comfort level.
Here's how the new Stream Studio will appear:
You can see the event name, start time, and time zone on the top left-hand corner and to the right, Resolution size, Input Codec, selected Region and Closed Captions option.
Click ‘Stream Inputs’ selection to add or update your RTMP URL and Stream Key information.
Chat settings, including Viewer Count and Reaction visibility, as well as Chat admin features, like your organizer username and Pinned Messages, are also readily available. The live chat window where you can view your audiences’ live chat conversation, can be opened or closed, per your preference.

Many of you are familiar with our VOD offering, which enables you to provide your audience with a recording of your live-streamed event. Now, Rental Products are available so that you can rent out your past event recordings, independent of attached livestreams.
To get started with this new feature, click ‘Rentals’ on the left-hand side and then ‘Add Rental’.
With the rental creation, you have the ability to add a Rental Period (i.e. - how many hours a person has access to the video once they’ve started watching it), and your basic description.
On the main rental page, you can upload a video trailer so that people can preview the content of the rental, add any custom email content you’d like, and set price points, upsells and tracking codes.
Once you’ve completed, add the Rental details your Rentals will be located on your main event page. If you have a library of existing videos and grand rights to your content, Rentals are a perfect way to broaden and grow the audience for your past performances.
Now organizers that are enrolled in our Volume plan can take the merch code experience you’ve enjoyed when promoting your events and apply it to your merchandise!
For example, let's say you'd like to use digital merchandise to sell redemption codes for VR experiences on Steam. You can download a chunk of redemption codes, upload them to the Stellar platform and sell them like any other inventory. If someone purchases one, we'll send them the code via email and it's marked as such in inventory.
To get started with this new feature, click on the downward arrow next to ‘Events & Products’ and then click on ‘Digital Merchandise’. To create your first Digital Merch code click on ‘Add Digital Merchandise’.
Then follow the rest of the step-by-step instructions in our handy support guide!
We’re excited for you to enjoy all of these brand new features. Any thoughts, questions or ideas? Your feedback is welcome! Schedule a call with our product development team anytime. Creating a stellar platform experience for you is paramount to us!
